The wait is finally over. Squid Game Season 3 drops on Netflix and it's going to be the last season of this incredible series that took the world by storm. I am so excited for this!

Mercy for None
June 6, 2025 on Netflix

If you're into gritty crime dramas, mark your calendar. Mercy for None premieres on Netflix with 5 episodes and is a dark, action-packed series about Korean organized crime that looks absolutely intense.
So Ji-sub plays Gijun, a former gang leader who disappeared for 11 years after his younger brother was murdered. His brother had joined a rival gang, and Gijun didn't want to fight against his own family. But now he's back, and he's not messing around - he wants revenge.
The show is based on a really popular webtoon that fans loved, so expectations are high. The cast is stacked with incredible actors, and even the poster looks intense - So Ji-sub covered in blood with the tagline "Once you start, it ends in death."
What's crazy is that some polls show people are even more excited about this than Squid Game Season 3. That's saying something.
The Woman Who Swallowed the Sun
June 9, 2025 on MBC

This drama tells the story of a single mom whose life gets completely turned upside down.
Baek Seol-Hui runs a small snack bar and is just trying to make ends meet and raise her daughter. But then something terrible happens - her daughter becomes involved in a tragic incident and gets blamed for something she didn't do. Seol-Hui is convinced that a powerful rich family is behind it all.
This ordinary mom decides she's not going to take it lying down. She's going after the people who destroyed her family, and she's going to make them pay. The show also has a man who comes back from America seeking his own revenge, so there are multiple storylines of people fighting back against injustice.
It's only 5 episodes, so it's going to be a tight, intense story that doesn't waste any time.
The First Night With the Duke
June 11, 2025 on KBS2

Fantasy romance fans, this one's for you. This drama has a really unique premise.
A modern college student somehow wakes up inside a historical romance novel - but not as the main character. She's stuck in the body of a minor character who ends up having a one-night stand with the story's male lead, a cold and obsessive nobleman.
Now she's trying to navigate palace politics and change the story's tragic ending while dealing with unexpected romance. Seohyun and Ok Taec-yeon star as the leads, and from what we've seen, the costumes and sets look absolutely gorgeous.
It's based on a popular web novel, so fans already know the story is good. The question is how well they'll adapt it for TV.
Our Movie
June 13, 2025 on SBS

Get your tissues ready for this one. Our Movie premieres on SBS and it's going to hit you right in the feelings.
Namkoong Min plays a film director who had one great movie but now can't seem to make anything good again. Jeon Yeo-been plays an aspiring actress who's terminally ill. When they decide to work together on a movie about people facing death, they end up finding healing and falling in love.
It's one of those stories about making the most of the time you have and finding meaning in art and relationships. With these two incredible actors, you know the performances are going to be amazing. Just be prepared to cry.
Salon de Holmes
June 16, 2025 on Genie TV and ENA

Here's something completely different - housewives turned detectives! This 10-episode series looks like a lot of fun.
Lee Si-young leads a group of neighborhood women who form a secret detective club to solve crimes in their apartment complex. The team includes a former police detective, someone who works multiple part-time jobs, and a grocery store owner. Together, they're taking on corruption and injustice in their community.
It sounds like it has the perfect mix of action, comedy, and girl power. Think of it as your typical crime drama, but with motorcycles, disguises, and a bunch of determined moms who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.
Hunter with a Scalpel
June 16, 2025 on U+tv and Disney+

Also dropping on U+tv and Disney+, this one's much darker. Hunter with a Scalpel is a psychological thriller that's going to mess with your head.
Park Ju-hyun plays a forensic pathologist who discovers that a series of murders might be connected to her father, who she thought was dead. Now she's racing to catch him before the police do, while trying to keep her connection to the case secret.
The tagline "My father's murders have started again" tells you everything you need to know about how disturbing this is going to be. It was even selected for the Cannes International Series Festival, so you know it's going to be quality - just really, really dark quality.
I Am a Running Mate
June 19, 2025 on TVING

All 8 episodes of this one drop at once on TVING. It's about high school politics, which might sound boring, but it's actually really clever.
A model student's reputation gets destroyed by an embarrassing viral video, so he decides to run for student council vice president to try to fix his image. What follows is basically House of Cards, but in a Korean high school.
The cool thing is that it's directed by Han Jin-won, who co-wrote Parasite. So you know it's going to have that perfect mix of social commentary and entertainment. It already screened at the Busan International Film Festival and got great reviews.
